So I'm shopping in the local Safeway and overheard some European folks (what they were doing in Lafayette I have no idea) ask one of the stalkers in an Italian accent “where is the cheese?” He said, “isle blah blah blah” and I thought “what? That is where the Monterey jack and weak mild cheddar and sting and shredded and processed cheese is.” I looped around and stopped them before they got there and said “excuse me, you are looking for cheese? You don’t want this cheese. “ “No?” asked European dude. “No. You want to go over there” and pointed them to the Deli area where they have the somewhat better shrink wrapped Maytag and Rouge Noir and imported shtuff. I felt good about that.
I am not a vegetarian and never intend to be. I enjoy food too much to discriminate.

The family table is more of an event than a place. It can happen anywhere with anyone and should happen more often than it does.

Experiencing things / events with someone else is almost 2X better than experiencing the same thing alone. It is not like I need some validation or confirmation, it is just more fun sharing an experience with someone else. For the longest time, I would not go to dinner or a movie by myself for the sole reason that I would rather go with someone else.

I am from Del Mar in San Diego and have grown to love Northern Cal. There is so much that I love to do here...Tahoe, Napa, SF... Even though the beach isn't a stone's throw away for me anymore I do enjoy getting near and (sometimes) in the water and running along the beach. I also like watching the kite surfers near Chrissy Field. It's amazing how diverse the restaurants are in SF. Although I enjoy sushi and Mexican and the "farm to table" types of restaurants the most. My kids have gone on the zipline that was in the Embarcadaro (yes, they are dare devils) and I swear they enjoy going on that thing more than going to Disneyland...thank God...I hope it comes back this year. Urban zipline...only in SF. I have taken so many pictures from the Bay Bridge of the city on my phone and straight to my FB page it's rididuclous. I must say that AT&T park hands down is the best and by far surpasses PetCo Park. Love going to Giants games. Shopping in sf....I won't go there/move on....Napa....there is something so special about Napa and the surrounding areas. It reminds me so much of Tuscany. Tasting wine with friends and having lunch especially when the weather is ideal...so romantic and magical.
So I live in Lafayette. It's such a great little town. I love the small community feel and not to mention the education my kids are getting. When I am not running all the trails around here you can usually find me involved with the community or lunching with my friends...or on a plane heading to down to SD for some sunshine.
That being said I have a great life and I am very content. Although I do live a fit life I do enjoy indulgences. It seems that I have everything I need except Mr. Wonderful and I am searching for him. I hope he is searching for me and finds me. :) I feel chemistry and attraction are super important but I also feel that respecting each other's current lives (work schedule, kids schedule) is just as important.
As for Match....I tend to be a little traditional at first. I am not shy but I need to know what it means when you are winking at me or like my picture or you are interested in me. An email is always helpful for me. Thank you for reading this!!

Right off the bat, I would like people to know that I'm in the process of a very friendly divorce. There is no drama in the least associated with the divorce, and I will always be on friendly terms with the father of my children. Obviously, nobody wishes divorce upon him or herself, but I'm happy at least that mine is a friendly one.
About Me: - I'm friendly, fun, energetic, intelligent, passionate, kind, sincere, understanding, open, honest and genuine. I am devoted to my children, and I put my heart and soul into anything and everything I do. I feel in many ways I'm simple...I'm pleased by simple things and/or experiences. I love being outdoors. I feel at my very best when I'm doing challenging exercise. I think that sometimes I'm so understanding that others take advantage of this trait. Who I'm Looking For - Honestly, the number one trait must be chemistry between the two of us. It's either there or not, and that can be none early on. Date men and women from Lafayette, United States. Wow. This seems a little bit like a high school essay - "Describe who and what you're looking for in 4000 characters, or less." Well, that last bit took care of about 120 of them. Now I guess I have to actually come up with something to say.
First and foremost, I'm looking for a friend. Any meaningful relationship has to start with that as the base. While I'm definitely looking for a long term relationship, I'm not looking to dive headfirst into one without first building a solid friendship. I'm a pretty independent person, and the woman I'm looking for needs to be the same. Someone who realizes that two people won't share all the same interests and passions, while appreciating that those differences add to a relationship, rather than detract from it. I think it's healthy for people to have interests and pursuits outside of those that are shared by a couple.
I'm looking for someone who has interests in life beyond the simply material. While everyone wants to be comfortable and have nice things, I'm not interested in acquiring things for the sake of it. Things on their own don't bring happiness. That's not to say that I don't care about financial gains in my career, I'm just not obsessed with it. I'm far more interested in doing something meaningful to me, than working at something I hate for a larger monetary gain. I think the term most often used to describe me is passionate, goes hand in hand with the "work hard, play hard" mentality. I have been lucky and, I think smart, in holding on to good friends through life. I find it sad how often bridges get burned for individual events rather than individuals.
