Well I am a simple, down to earth, outgoing guy. My hobbies include mountain bike riding, hanging out by the river, Golfing, Softball, Giants games, Art and Wine events, and day trips to San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay, or spending the weekend in Truckee.

Family means everything to me and I am lucky to say that we are a very close group. Including my mom, I also have 2 sisters, an identical twin brother, 2 nephews, 3 nieces, and a great niece! I don’t have any kids of my own but I am very open to the idea. I just want to make sure that if it were to happen, it is with the person I spend the rest of my life with.

I always try to keep an open mind. Different countries, cultures, food, and opinions intrigue me. I was born in Washington D.C., raised in the Midwest, and spread my wings in Colorado. I starred in a TV commercial as a child (no I'm not as damaged as Macaulay Culkin). Earned my private pilots license in high school with the proceeds. Worked my way through college changing oil & rotating tires (justification for a higher education). And I love sports. If you're an Avs fan, please don't hold my hockey allegiance to the Detroit Red Wings against me?! I love my job, I love to laugh, and I love to learn. Many of my passions dwell in the Colorado outdoors (hiking, biking, camping, skiing, snowshoeing). I've competed in sprint triathlons, 100-mile century rides, urban adventure races and summited several 14ers. I have close ties to my family and would do anything for them. I hope you feel the same way. My family and friends would describe me as care free, funny and outgoing. I've got a huge heart for someone deserving of it. I'm a big time extrovert who's only now learning how to appreciate solitude and silence. My quiet time is usually spent in the saddle on the roads/trails of Boulder County. I own my own home and know my way around a tool box. I find yard work and growing veggies in my own garden therapeutic. If you'd like a nice home cooked meal, by all means be my guinea pig.

I’m athletic and take good care of my temple, both mind and body, and do circuit training with free weights regularly – I’ve learned that this practice provides me a great physique as well as mental and emotional balance, which is necessary for me as my pursuit of entrepreneurship often requires great duress and exertion. I have a good system and can eat whatever I want. (I never want fast food.) I complement trips to the gym with whatever else I can do outside, have a passion for hiking and backpacking, mountain sports, motocross, jet/waterskiing/wakeboarding and anything wind-powered including flying gliders. While I enjoy the finer things life offers, I like roughing it too. I love inviting friends over for dinner, cooking it for them, selecting wine from my collection and the enjoying the vibrant conversations we have. I love throwing fantastic theme parties that originate in my wild imagination. I’m easy going, extremely non-judgmental, impervious to gossip, enjoy experiencing new things and find opportunities to get outside my comfort zone magnificent, though that is often a challenge given my disparate interests and skills. I consider myself somewhat of an intellectual, though mostly within the confines of science and analytical thought, perhaps some design too because I’ve studied a lot of that and am passionate about it. I am an eternal student; academic and practical, and have learned how often the two don't mix. I was trained in biochemistry with BS/MS, went on to work for a pharmaceutical startup spun out of Stanford Medicine, learned how *not* to run a company and decided to get my MBA, during which I launched my personal care product company. The most important thing I learned during my MBA was how critical it is to speak to the masses and the necessity of developing this skill. KISS rule is paramount. If I had to describe one thing I have great capacity in understanding, it’s the way biology works and interacts with the physical world. This enables me to create product formulas that support our natural physiology and encourage longevity, vs. detract from our health and accelerate disease and aging.
I find there is no political party that represents my beliefs – I will clearly have to start my own. I’m disgusted with the current government in its entirety. I plan to launch my political propaganda channel on youtube sometime in the near future. Something along the lines of social liberalism and fiscal conservatism, focused on the constitution's bill of rights. Back to the basics really.
I seek a woman who’s as similarly inclined as possible. Base requirements include confidence, brains, honesty, the capacity to recognize, own and communicate feelings and needs, understanding of her sexuality, healthy habits of fitness and diet, emotional security and a good relationship with her mom is a distinct plus. I enjoy outdoor activities, and want a partner with a sense of adventure. I like mountain biking and snowboarding... I climb but not that well yet. I think it is important to stay in shape and I regularly work out and try to eat good food.

I study Tibetan Buddhism. I see it as a philosophy more than a religion... I enjoy philosophical conversations and keep an open mind to everyone's point of view.
I am a self employed mechanical engineer, and had a few small businesses in the past. I have also worked for a large corporation. However, work, money and possessions are not my first priority, I value vacation, family time, and having new experiences.

Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. Friendly, engaging and adventurous would probably be a good description of who I am. I like to get out and enjoy this beautiful environment that surrounds us on the front range.
While a day skiing, hiking or biking is often what I am up for, a movie or reading a book is often in the agenda as well. I moved to the Boulder area to be near the mountains, but I would have to say my values are more informed by my midwest upbringing in St. Louis. Since my family is there, I miss them a lot, but it is hard to imagine living in a place that does not have so many opportunities for stepping out as here.
My draw to the mountains is not just for an adrenaline rush, but as much a spiritual pursuit as well. I find the peace and connection to nature an access point to what is important within me.
I am looking for someone to share my love of adventure, and to also share in the path spiritual and emotional growth. While I am not overly religious, I strive to expand my spiritual horizons while focusing my mind on the happiness and compassion that I can grow within myself and amplify out into the world.
