Meet men and women from Hartford, United States. Well, this is fun...Not! I guess I'm here because I have no where else to be. Kids are married or moved off to college. Empty nest syndrome is upon me. I spend lots of time at work, then I come home and work some more. I enjoy gardening and piddling with flowers. I enjoy being outside. I am a grounded individual. I am a very positive person and don't like to be around negativity...at home, at work, at play. I am firm in my faith and am very involved in my church. I believe that a man and woman should be equally yoked for a relationship to work. I love meeting new people and learning what makes them tick. I'm not in a hurry to jump into a relationship, but dinner, a movie, a trip to the local coffee house sounds great! Friends tell me I am too picky, but through my life's experiences I know what I want and don't want and will not "settle". I'm from the old school where I believe a lady should be a lady and a man should be a gentleman. I love to laugh, smile alot and try always not to let circumstances bring me down. I am an eternal romantic....and yes, I believe it does still exist; one just has to find that right person that is not selfish, but genuinely giving and concerned for his fellow man. I am a giving, caring person who tries to always see a need beyond myself.
I recently became a grandmother (GiGi) and it is wonderful. Brings back old memories of raising my own children. I have two wonderful children, one married to a great guy and mother of my grandchild, the other a student in college.
I enjoy cooking, movies, trying new resturants, jumping in my car and just "driving and winding up somewhere". I enjoy the beach, usually Panama City or Sandestin.
Sorry there's no picture, but I am still just a bit skeptical...would rather email a photo than have my face plastered out there.
