Date a guy from United States. First of all, thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. This is the second or third time I've done the online thing in the past couple of years with no previous success. I don't do it often, and usually don't stay on for long, but I give it a try every now and then to see what may come.
I've been quite content for most of my life just being single. I have dated from time to time, but nothing usually that serious. I do have a little boy who is now four and is a huge part of my life. He has a mother who is remarried and still a major part of his life, so I'm not looking for someone to replace her for him, but would like for my spouse to love him unconditionally regardless. He is a sweet boy, and is disciplined well.
As for me and my personality: I am the type that likes to take the lead. I believe that if a family is centered around Christ, especially the head of the family, then the trials they face in life may be more easily overcome. (1 Cor 11:3) I always try to take a biblical approach to everything, so if you would like to know my thoughts on marriage and relationships, it would be easier for me to simply refer you to those verses. I love my job as it affords me the opportunity to work from home and travel occasionally, which is fun to me. I would love to find someone who could take off and go with me on business trips and make some fun out of them. I've been to Disney World twice in six months, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, New Orleans, and Dallas, all by my lonesome ;-).
When I am home, I like to garden and raise a few farm animals like chickens for fresh eggs. I live an organic lifestyle and like eating healthy foods. I do enjoy cooking, but would love for someone to pick up the slack :-) I rarely eat out, if that is any indication of how I like to eat and how often I cook.
I'm open for just about anyone to meet, however, it is important to have similarities in crucial areas, especially in faith in Christ. Other small things like exercise and doing fun and active things, cooking, similar child-rearing ideas, would all be a huge plus.
I'm really laid back, sometimes goofy with dry humor, and generally just looking to enjoy life.

Meet a man from Hammondville, United States. my youngest son graduated high school this year and will be off to college in the fall. big change for me as we are very close. i'm sure i will figure out how to deal with it when the time comes. don't really know what i'm looking for here, someone fun, honest and sincere. those selfish or self centered need not apply, been there done that! suppose i would like to meet the perfect girl as you girls would like to meet the perfect man. hmm, tough call on the perfection part. don't know that i've ever had anyone agree they had found the perfect companion long term, but do know that those that figure out how to enjoy their time together and end up with a wonderful relationship. sounds good to me! if you are out there, please respond, look forward to meeting you!
