Meet a guy from United States. Let's see, my name is Dave, and I am a music teacher in a small town near Hot Springs, AR. I am new to the area, so I want to meet someone special to make this place more of a home.
Who am I? Well, I am an adventurous nerdy-jock, if that makes any sense. I love to explore new places, especially if it involves climbing a mountain (hiking, not hanging from a cliff). I also love to play various sports, like soccer, baseball or softball, or whatever else my friends are playing. I've actually joined a local Soccer team again and it feels great to back in goal. I enjoy staying pretty fit. I think my chin-up bar is the best $30 I've ever spent! My nerdy side is mostly my love to play and learn music, but I do play lots of board games, card games, etc. that may or may not be considered nerdy :p If someone is having fun, I want to be in there too! I also have a strong desire to further my career. I am planning a MA within 4 years, and eventually want to teach college.

Meet a boy from Alabama, United States. Well its really hard to describe yourself in a few words but for the most part im very laid back and an outdoor person for sure. My son is my life and he is 8 and he will tell you who his favorite person in the world is and its his daddy! I was an only child and never really had a father figure so im a mommys boy! I do have 3 halfbrothers that I love. My family and health is very important to me and Im always doin sumthn and being active. I work very hard and play hard to. Im the type of guy who is proud of what they do and proud to say they did it because its awsome. I would absolutly love to find a girl who loves the outdoors as much as I do. I dont mind a girlie girl but she cant be a wimp either. I get my hair and nails done and I do construction. Alot of people think its stupid but I have friends that do the same thing. I like to look and be the best I can every day. Well almost every day!! My girl needs to be pretty hot too. Life truly is an adventure for me every day, so if you are the kind of woman who wants the same routine everyday for the rest of your life I respectfully tell you I?m not that guy. What I can offer is a doorway to a life that is never boring and I can promise the best stories ever to tell your friends. The good news about my wild and crazy life is that I understand how important it is to have fun, I want to make some of the most boring tasks truly exciting. If that means dancing while I mop the floor or swapping stories with a stranger at the super market so be it.
My son is my best friend. He is three and so much fun to be around. We tell each other our problems all the time, his is mostly about running out of juice or the fact that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse isn?t on, but I listen as best I can because you know what they say, one man?s mountain is another man?s mole hill. He does give some great advice though. It usually involves chasing after him and laughing a lot. We only get to see each other every other weekend and during the summer so I guess that?s part of why I am the way I am. Since time is limited, I try to make every single thing we do fun.
I love to grill, especially for other people. Steaks, burgers, hot dogs, fish, chicken, vegetables, you name it. I like to read about new recipes in Southern Living Magazine and experimenting on my own as well. Eating out is great too but I am not one of those people who order the same thing every time. I?ve always wondered how people who do that ever try anything new.
I?m definitely a goal driven person and a competitor. I coach high school basketball and love it because it fits me so well. My career allows me to tackle new obstacles everyday and allows me to feel the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, which I think are important aspects in life. Writing is a passion of mine, I have several books published, both fiction and nonfiction. For fun I love to be outside, hiking, paintball, pretty much anything. I also, love to watch movies, sports and listen to music. I love to build things with my hands, which I proudly got from my grandfather. I still consider myself very southern (I grew up on a peach orchard and worked at my family?s sawmill growing up) even though I have become very worldly as well (I am almost finished with my second Master?s Degree, I love traveling, and one of my greatest memories is standing on a 2000 year old Pyramid gazing over ancient Mayan ruins). I love meeting new people and have the belief you can never have too many friends.
As far as where I am going, I would like to finish a doctoral program of study (no I won?t make you call me Dr.), win a state championship, and meet the woman who can understand my need to make life an adventure and more importantly want to go on that adventure with me. If you think you may be her give me a shout. The worst thing that can happen is you meet a really good friend, and the best? Well it could be destiny.
