I was fortunate enough to semi retire (as I called it) at the age of 50.....bought a farm, started raising some miniature horses, raised cattle for awhile, enjoyed it for about three years and decided I was too young and still a little bit to ambitious so I found something else to get involved with and enjoying it.
I have two grown sons ages 31 & 33. The youngest is still single and lives in Atlanta. The oldest is married, has 5 children, ages 6 mo. to 9 years old. They live right outside of Memphis. So here I am somewhere kinda somewhat in the middle of the two. I'm proud of both for they have grown into such fine, responsible young men, have never, ever given me a moments problem or grief and both boys are very independent and self reliant.
