Meet someone special from Fairfield, United States. All righty then... I'm 47, never married and no children. There was a period in my life where I didn't have the time to have a relationship... well, not have a successful relationship. For 5 years, I worked for a touring band and traveled all over the world. I was rarely home for more than 2 weeks at a time, so it was very difficult to meet and get to know somebody.
On the upside, I did get to visit many places and see how other people live around the world. The experience changed the way I viewed some things in life and re-evaluate what was really important to me.
A few years ago, I started a new career and so far, I am enjoying it. I guess it would be considered in the medical field. I never would have thought I would enjoy helping people, as strange as that sounds. But there is certain satisfaction I get from my job.
I have always been into music. Since I was about 3 years old I've been fascinated by drums and later played in the school band when I was old enough. Recently, I started playing with a bar band made up of some old friends. It is a fun outlet. I also like to play tennis, fish and sometimes I like to do nothing!
It would be nice to meet/correspond with a woman who has a sense of humor. The type who can laugh at herself as well as others. Though looks are important to a degree, her character and values are more important to me.
