I don't know that there is any such thing as an "ideal" date, people being what they are. I would like someone with whom honesty is a priority. Also, family should come first, in my opinion, and I'm not a particularly opinionated individual. Communicaition is important, also, and it should travel in both directions. This should include returning phone calls and serious emails within a reasonable length of time. Neither party should ignore the other.
