I went to the University of Minnesota where I studied Finance and Marketing. I just recently moved from Chicago where I was working to pursue my dream of becoming a pilot.

It is sad to see my friends (guys and girls) settle for other people who are not the same quality as they are. I am grateful for my family and friends because without them, I would never be the person I am today. I can never thank them enough and never spend enough time with them in order to learn the right way of life. I am grateful for our freedoms and the beauty of our country; I have done a little bit of traveling and love every moment of it, but especially coming back to America and to everything that it has to offer. That is one of the main reasons I joined the Army; to provide service in whatever way I could back to this great nation and further our way of life.
I am looking for a girl that loves to be a mom (I think moms are the cutest thing in the world); someone that takes care of the entire family. I wholeheartedly believe I will help my wife do anything she needs, but I need someone that can cook, do laundry, and tend to a garden (I like to think I am an excellent cleaner, thank you Army life! I realize my parenthetical comments aren’t witty, clever, or even remotely funny, but it does show you that I am a pretty corny guy) because these are the things that my mom and step mom always took care of for my family. I look forward to having kids one day, but not for a few years because I’d like to spend time with my wife and build a relationship that does not revolve solely around our children.
My social life is pretty lame by normal 23 year old guy standards. I drink alcohol only when it is practically forced on me by my family, I do not smoke or do any sort of drugs. I do not enjoy going to parties or concerts. I love having one on one conversations with people in order to share information or analyze different situations or people. I love playing, watching, and attending sporting events. I have a handful of very good friends that I hang out with all the time, but it is not a group of us. I believe I am personable and friendly to everyone and that most people like me; however, I do not feel as though I enjoy doing the things that most people enjoy doing which results in me being someone that people can talk to, but not hang out with because I’m boring (and I’m okay with that).
My outlook on everything I do is a “glass is half empty” mentality because I believe that there is always something further that one can do to improve situations. However, when the task is complete, I am a “glass is half full” type of person because I try to look on the bright side of things. I am looking for someone who is an optimist, who is always seeking the best out of others. I dislike people that are generally pessimistic.
I believe we are only as strong as our weakest link. Consequently, my favorite quote is:

I am in the military and it is sometimes hard to meet new people that are not also in the military. Since I live close to post, pretty much everyone who lives near me is also in the military so I figured why not give this a shot.
I am looking for someone who can also enjoy the simple pleasures in life and has a goal in life. I am looking for someone who is looking for a serious relationship and also wouldn't mind moving should things become serious since that is a moving from time to time is a major part of my job.
