Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. Let me start by saying the only reason I am not listed as divorced is that the papers are not signed yet. But there is no question, divorce will happen. I am back on the dating scene after a LOOOOONG time. I have to admit....I think I am a little embarressed to be on a website like this. But this or bars....hmmmm not much of a choice.
I am an open, honest, upfront person. I want someone to tell me the truth. I can not stand to be lied to. If you can't tell me the truth, please do not even respond to me. I will be upfront with you; how I feel, where I stand, etc. I am not expecting anyone to be as upfront as me but atleast honest!! I am a true believer in communication!!!
I don't want to play games. I am who I am and not going to try to be someone else. Life is too short. I am not 'barbie'. Nor do I want to be.... I don't like the games of who will contact who next. I am sorta old fashion when it comes to that in the beginning. I like for the guy to contact me. After we know each other better I am definitely open to become more 'assertive'. I am a very social person and from a big family. So as far as hanging out I am usually "the more the merrier." But like to spend alone time with someone special.
I am an independent person and can do most of what I need to do. So I am not looking for someone to take care of me. My children come first. I am VERY active in their lifes from church, to school and PTO. But I do make time for me and things that are important to me. We are in church almost every Sunday. I really like being a Christain example for my children. And would like someone that would do the same.
