I'm a guidance counselor at an amazing charter school. I love working with high school students and helping them map out their futures. As for my personal life, I like hanging out with friends, going to the gym, listening to music (I have an amazing "shower voice"), reading and writing. I love pretty much all types of music: pop, 80's, alternative, rock, and even a little rap & country (shh don't tell anyone, I'm a white girl with flavor). I am a little bit of a nerd; I love Star Wars, Harry Potter (the books) & at one point I think I wanted to be Indiana Jones. Wait, I still want to be...ahem, anyway... I'm pretty good at making people laugh - sometimes intentionally, sometimes not - but I can appreciate either as I don't take myself too seriously. I also love to travel. Last year I went to Egypt this year my destination is Costa Rica - I'm super excited! I love going on adventures & trying new things.
To be completely honest, I can be a little shy when getting to know someone - but that has gotten me some amazing help-me-move-a-body-friends. Wow, this is turning into one of those I'm looking for a partner in crime kinda profiles...Really, I'm looking for a partner in life and all that entails. I want a guy with a good sense of humor (and a healthy tolerance for sarcasm) who is honest, open-minded and can hold up his end of the conversation. I really am a very simple girl, this I have been told. I don't mind eating tacos on a date. I actually would prefer something low-key rather than a fancy restaurant. I enjoy movies because I love to be entertained, but I don't need to be entertained. I believe loyalty should always run deep. I am ambitious and work hard.

I love sports! Yes, I really did that say that! I grew up playing soccer (14 years) and I was also raised on the diamond. I am the Mother of all Angel Fans! haha I won't ever recite stats, BUT I do know my baseball. I know what ERA and LOB stands for and much more. I know my baseball well for being a girl. I just might make your friends jealous. Please no Yankee fans, we will have words and I will win! Angels rule my heart.
I work out a lot! I am usually at the gym 5x a week and I make an effort to eat healthy, but don't get me wrong I love pazookie!! Bottom line, I like to be active and enjoy my life and eat whatever I want, whenever I whenever I want. So don't leave a cookie in front of me, it will be gone before you blink!
I grew up Catholic. I did time in Catholic school for almost 12 years. I don't go to church, but I have very strong faith.

It's very intimidating to try and describe myself in a paragraph, so I'll keep this short and we can fill in the blanks later.
I have seen a few guys on here who seem to be custom ordering their girl and very clear that they won't get along with certain "types". To save anyone like this time, I may as well disclose right up front that it is my sassy mouth that always gets me in trouble....if you can't handle an occasional naughty word or a little edge (I do drink beer out of the bottle) from an otherwise pretty old-fashioned girl, then I probably am not your "type".
I am a very devoted mom to two incredible daughters, 5 & 10 years old. Since they were born, I have worked a little and been with them a lot.....it has been hard, but totally worth it! I am excited to be restarting my career now that my littlest is going to school. If you don't respect a woman who chooses to stay home and care for her kids while they are little, I'm definitely not for you.
