Date a man from Concord, United States. Five years into living in the Bay Area and I am still finding interesting places to go. Before coming here, I lived in Southern California. I have always loved living in California and never imagined living anywhere else. I spend a lot of time in the forest areas north of here, hiking, camping, and searching out beautiful views and new experiences.
I love my friends and family, and wish more of both lived near me, but I guess I will have to continue to make more here.
Springtime has me working in the garden, planting food and flowers. When the garden is ready (minus the continual battle with weeds), it is time to head for the local parks to enjoy nature's gardens. The local wildflowers are amazing - orange, blue, red ,purple, yellow - like looking into a kaleidoscope.
Summertime is the time to go adventuring in the playground of California. Mountains to the north and east for camping and hiking. Beaches to the south for swimming and sunning. It is hard to go anywhere else. But that doesn't mean I don't. Malaysia, Thailand, and China were all beautiful and it wouldn't take much to get me to visit again. Or go to Europe, or SA, or...?
I hope to find someone who is comfortable staying at home, as well as going out. I like to hang at home, but I like a night in the City, as well. Dinner in a nice restaurant with the right person, a conversation that shares a piece of me and a piece of her = awesome. A little spontaneity where we would decide on Thursday to go somewhere for the weekend = fantastic.
Also, as far as watching sports go? I like baseball first, football a close second, tennis, soccer, and maybe a little college basketball.

Well about me:
I was born and raised in the northern Bay Area – Napa, Clear Lake, Walnut Creek, Concord, the beaches Tahoe was still is my play ground. Just recently moved back after 8 years in a different state I love being back. So much has changed over the last 8 years, I feel like a tourist, but I am getting better. I have survived 2 – count them 2 Hurricanes, without evacuating. 1 was a Category 3 the other was a 5. Word of advice, do not go through a Hurricane in a third world country – getting out is impossible. A 1 week trip turned into 4 weeks in a state of emergency they stop serving alcohol – the nerve. :)
I am an old fashion type of guy. I tend to have a very even keel, not much upsets me. Why worry about the small stuff, if you can fix it – fix it. If you cannot fix it – do not stress about it. I usually have a smile on my face from sunrise to sunset. I am a gentleman that can be taken anywhere and fit in. Wear flip flops in the morning a suit and tie in the evening. I can sit through a ballet or theater, as if it was a ballgame. Currently, I am doing my best to get back in shape – I know I can do better. :) I will ask how your day was and listen before I tell you about mine. Maybe even have dinner waiting for you when you get home – maybe. LOL
I work in an industry that I love. I get to go to places that the average citizen does not have a chance to go. You can really take beautiful pictures from the tops of buildings. But if you get caught in a rain storm, it tends to be a soggy day. LOL
I can have a witty sense of humor and I do tend to get in one of those laughing fits that will last awhile. But when I am off, I tend to be the one made fun of – but I am a big boy I can take it. If you cannot laugh at yourself, you need too. I tend to learn something new every day – if you are not learning your stagnant that’s not good.

I am looking for a partner, friend, companion, - solid person that I can have a conversation with about anything and everything. A person that knows I have her back all the time I know she has mine. One that likes to laugh (I can be a goof ball) at the little and big things. Is positive about who they are and where they are in life. You can give directions when I get lost if you can handle a stick shift you can drive my car. :)
Friendship is important for a solid foundation but without chemistry we will not have concrete for the foundation. A gal that likes to explore travel is a must – I usually take a trip to a different location every year – any ideas for this year? Once in awhile I need a partner to kick me to get me going – Hey, I am a guy, we all need kicking once in awhile. LOL

Meet people from Concord, United States. Hmm, well, I’m not big on writing about myself, but here it goes….
I'm a very active guy who loves to hike, bike, swim and travel. I've lived here in the Bay Area for nearly 20 years now and I'm still finding new places to explore. It's an amazing place to live. I've lived all over the country during my childhood (military family then my dad's career moves) but there is nothing quite like Northern California.
I'm happy with my life but I'm miss female companionship - and all that goes with it, romance, passion, travel, conversation, and just being with someone you care for.
Well, I'm not going to write a novel about myself, I'll just keep it short and to the point. I've been told I'm a great conversationalists, but I'm not real comfortable about this dating forum I guess. I'm a very down to earth guy that's honest and always mean what I say. I'm not a serial dater. I don't understand how people can do this.
I’m big on punctuality, if I say I'm going to be there at 6, believe me, I'm going to be there at 6. If something comes up I'll call or text.
In regards to finding my match, I’m attracted to women who keep themselves fit and active. Self confidence and honesty are big on my lists. Moreover, being very affectionate and romantic are high on the lists as well.
Date someone special from Concord, United States. A friend of mine recently told me that I was "in the right space" in my life and that now is the perfect time for me to try on-line dating again. I think she's right. I think I've found my "isocenter"...I believe we all have to be grounded and "centered" and once we get there... all other aspects of our lives will fall into place! (that's my thought anyway:)
So fellas, here I am! I'm a single mom who knows that if I don't put myself out there....I'll have to just sit back and watch my dating life pass me by...NOT ok with that! I've fallen into somewhat of a dull comfort zone lately and need someone to gently kick me out of that zone (think you can help me out here?) My attitude is that I have nothing to lose and possibly A LOT to gain. Be it that I have fun meeting some interesting people.... or possibly meeting that special someone...either outcome is ok by me.
As for someone I'd like to meet,....if you are comfortable around kids, easy going, honest, know the meaning of integrity, and have a positive attitude...cool! If you are fun and have a sense of humor without being uptight, even better!!! As for me, well, I think I'm pretty easy going, non judgmental, not high maintenence or clingy, and love to be adventurous and try different outings. I keep busy, but also enjoy occasional lazy "chillax" days:) I like being thoughtful and know that sometimes the smallest gestures have the greatest impact.
