My current passions in life include my family, figure skating (ice dancing) and choral singing both in a community chorus and my church choir. I also enjoy taking long walks with my dog, Scotty, snow skiing and occasional community volunteering. I like to travel and although it is not a passion, I have enjoyed the Inca ruins in Peru, the Mayan ruins in Mexico, Stonehenge, old cathedrals and abbey ruins in the UK and many ancient Anasazi ruins in the US. I love camping in the desert Southwest or National parks. On the home front, I enjoy some gardening and the occasional quiet day at home. I take pleasure in life and view everything that comes my way as an opportunity to learn, grow and find the love in all things.
There are many things that I enjoy that would be even better shared with someone such as camping, music and theater, dining out, travel, hiking and quiet time at home. I also enjoy going on spiritual retreats and think sharing that would be wonderful. I would love to learn different types of dancing but a partner would definitely be an advantage. I believe that any good relationship starts with friendship. I would love to meet someone who shares some of my interests, has a positive outlook and is active, independent and enjoys life.
