If you could sum up my lifestyle and who I am in just a few words it would probably be enthusiastic about life and very intense and passionate about the people and things that are in my life.I think, no, I know, that the type of person who would appeal to me would be one who first and foremost is a Christian person who exhibits those values in their everyday life. Someone who would be comfortable and enthusiastic about going to a Bama game one day and equally excited about going to a movie or maybe just for a walk in the neighborhood or a drive in the country the next day. I am definitely looking for someone person who is enjoys life in all its facets. Also someone who can share their life with me, that is, someone who is not afraid let me know what is going on in their lives be it good or bad. Finally someone who is not afraid to let me know how they really feel about any particular subject. Well, I guess I better end this since I am rambling now.

I believe deeply in this country and its freedoms, especially the right to my own opinion! and by inference the right of others to have differing opinions and that we can disagree and still like each other. I have few extreme opinions, most often seeing the shades of grey along the spectrum of opinion.

Music (rock and roll, folk, bluegrass, rockabilly, jazz, classical guitar, to name a few genres), wine (mostly red), good food and mountains (any!) are important.
I love to go white water rafting and travel.
Food is important to me, as I work in the food business, but I love food of all sorts, not just fancy...it has to be food with heart.

I recently went through some serious health issues, but am coming out the other side...life will throw things at you that change your perspective. I am trying to achieve balance, a "new" normal, understanding that it is all a process.
