So a few things about me: I'm pretty laid back and easy going. It takes a lot to get me riled up. I love to laugh. I'm up to doing pretty much anything with good company. I love reading. I'd gotten away from it the past couple of years, but I'm slowly coming back. I'm a really big fan of movies...whether romantic comedies or sci-fi. And a fan of laughing at really bad movies. :) I haven't done much traveling but I really hope to change that. I've always wanted to visit China and Scotland/Ireland. The one thing I put above everything and everyone is my faith. My relationship with God is very important to me. I fail daily and have made my share of mistakes for sure. But I want to spend the rest of my life growing closer to Christ. And I'd love to take that journey with someone.
As far as what I'm looking for...I'm looking for someone who's always up for adventure....but doesn't mind a quiet night at home as well. Someone who is seeking to grow in their relationship in Christ. Loving dogs is a must! (I have a 4-year-old Chocolate Lab). I have a love for learning about new places, cultures, and topics. Id love someone to share that with. As well as share frequent trips to the beach!!
Date a soulmate from Auburn, United States. Ok, first it is time for the disappointing stuff, ladies: I don't own a huge truck with big tires, I do not have a "flop" haircut, I do not wear polo shirts everyday, I am most certainly not a fan of football, and I do not go to church.
However, I am a self made man who is a proven self starter and hustler. I have traveled around the world and fortunately for me I have been able to experience many other cultures outside of the South. (Yes, there is an entire world outside of the South and Auburn football.)
I moved to Auburn about a year ago. I go to school full time, but I am a carpenter by trade so I work as a contractor for a few clients I have found in the area. I am studying Civil Engineering, but I may decide to switch to Software Engineering instead. I enjoy reading, working out, and playing guitar.
I moved to Alabama from the Virgin Islands where I spent eight years. I have also lived in Portland, San Francisco, New York, and Chicago. I know absolutely no one around here so I am trying to meet new people to hang out with and show me the area.
In addition to my remodeling business, I am also planning to open a restaurant in August. I am a bit of a serial entrepreneur, and I am constantly creating business ideas which I either implement on my own or sell to others.
I enjoy leading a healthy lifestyle that includes eating right and pursuing fitness goals. Strange I know, but I was a vegan for three years. However, now I follow a paleo diet. Some of my fitness goals include running a 20 minute 5k and being able to perform planche push-ups (almost there!).
I imagine those who know me would describe me as an individual who is altruistic, gregarious, hardworking and honest. I believe I am a very kind and compassionate person, and before moving to Auburn I spent a fair amount of my time volunteering to support various causes. However, I can be rather tactless sometimes. Basically, if you portray yourself as an ignorant person, I may very well make a declarative statement acknowledging that fact.
My favorite musicians include Tool, Fred Eaglesmith, Buju Banton, Bob Marley, Jason Molina and DTB.
I enjoy reading books by Hemingway, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Tom Robbins, John Irving, Cormac McCarthy and others. I also write from time to time, but I have yet to truly discipline myself to write more consistently. I do write music and songs rather frequently, but I need to work on my other writing as well.

I might of said an astronaut, magician, or maybe even a tomato. I was an interesting boy to raise, since I don't like tomatoes and was somewhat sarcastic, but somehow I made it through childhood to the lucrative career of: "student."
