Lately, I have experienced a few changes in my life. I'm tired of the status quo and am ready for an adventure. Now that my daughter has a family of her own, I'd like to meet someone to share some grown-up time with. Since I moved to the road system from the bush, it seems I've devoted more time to my career than to my personal life. I've not gotten out enough to do the things I used to do- ski, canoe, camp, etc. Even though there's a highway connecting me to the "big city," I haven't gone to see many movies or hang out at the coffee house, which are things I'd like to do.
So here I am at this crossroads. I'm not the needy or dependent type- I love my independence and take pride in taking care of myself. But I'd like meet someone interesting. Meet a soulmate from Anderson, United States. To tell you a little about myself......... I am 34, never been married, and I am at the point in my life where I am very much ready to settle down. I won’t settle down with anybody just for the sake of settling, you know what I mean? My life is simple but stable, I work full time as a local truck driver (I am home every night and work normal hours) and I am working on earning my bachelors degree in my spare time. Work ethic is a high priority for me; I have worked steadily my entire adult life as I believe that all able men should. I served in the Navy right out of high school and shortly after my time in the military I migrated up here to the north state (I was born and raised in the Bay Area). Shasta County is far from perfect but I am quite content with calling it home. I enjoy the slower pace of life up here in comparison to the overcrowded, insane life of the bigger cities. I don't have any kids; I just spoil my two dogs as if they are kids.
