Date women from United States / Alabama / Alabaster, 65 year old

Date a soulmate from Alabama, United States. I am fun and enjoy doing many different things. I have a great sense of humor and enjoy a good laugh. I am a retired school teacher who loves life. I am looking for someone to share the travel and fun things which surround us in life.

Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. I enjoy old dogs, old trains, old junque, old planes. I have a very curious nature and visiting libraries and museums is a favorite pursuit. The same is true of second hand furniture stores, junque yards and auctions. I like to work in the yard as well.
The gentleman I spend time with should be exactly that - a gentleman in every sense of the word with an old-fashioned set of values. I would never take him for granted or disrespect him in any way.
I do not presently subscribe to Match.com so I can not pick up email, etc but am actively seeking a best friend and soul mate and possibly someone to spoil rotten for the rest of his life...
Cooking is one of my passions and I love to share the kitchen with a true gentleman/mad chef...
Some people see the glass half empty; some see it half full. I see it as having an antique glass pitcher with refills right at hand. Life gives you posibilities...
I am allergic to cigarette smoke.
I am doing physical therapy to heal from a bad fall and will not date at this time. If you'd want me decrepit, I'm going to be more than a handful once I heal...lol
I am checking out match.com to see who might be in my future as I plan to have a very active one and want to be in a strong committed relationship which could lead to marriage with the right gentleman.
In me, you will come to know a true old-fashioned lady in every sense. I do not play games. I am dedicated, faithful, shy in new situations and considered a sweet, nice person by my friends. I would be a valuable friend to have since I am so giving and I would think one day one of my friendships will lead to the last and best romance of my life. This gentleman will be thrilled that I love him with such fidelity, depth, richness and sharing of the spice of life. And then there's that part Italian penchant for cooking. I also try international recipes which do not include 100 year old eggs. I am a writer by profession and a dancer since childhood. I plan to return to the dancing as well as the hiking, canoeing, inner tubing, etc. when I recover. And I am making good progress at doing so.

Date a woman from Alabama, United States. I would like to believe that one of these tomorrows IРІР‚в„ўll meet a wonderful man who, with all his quirks and flaws, will be a perfect match for all my quirks and flaws.
He will have to make me think, make me laugh and yes, on occasion, even make me mad. I love good-natured verbal sparing and intelligence. He will need a passion for life, a devotion to his family and a quick, witty sense of humor.
Let’s face it…we’ve all lived enough decades to have had many great experiences, and some not so great, but those moments shaped us into who we have become. I have finally decided that I don't want to wake up one day and regret that I never gave love one more chance.
A home body at heart, albeit a gypsy in my soul, I think of myself as a free spirit, as opposed to a 62 year old stuck in the cul-de-sac of life – maybe that’s a throw back to the good old bra burning hippie years!
Although independent, I do wish for a special person to share the wonders of life. I try to never take myself too seriously and NEVER forget the blessings in my life- my family and friends. I am a morning person, prefer the mountains to the beach and love great music. I enjoy anything that is “artsy fartsy” and love to cook. I have far more guts than talent when it comes to home improvement projects but tackle each with a “I can do that” attitude.
Having had “it” all for many years, I’m now looking for the really important “it”. I don’t need to be wined and dined to be happy…I know that out there somewhere is a perfectly extraordinary guy that I can throw my arms around and never let go.....
I believe in the promise of tomorrow…..do you?
