I'm happy and generally content. I'm quiet, but not shy. I've been called "serene and aloof" – but honestly, that's just me taking the time to appreciate my friends and surroundings. I'm into motorcycles, metaphors, old rock music, obscure music of pretty much any kind, comicbooks/graphic novels, coffee, movies that make me laugh or jump, and the internet. Despite the area of the country I'm living in, I have no interest in religious arguments, nascar, or country music. Guns are fine, but I don't really care for hunting. If I've got to slap a label on me, I consider myself to be a scifi/computer geek =)
I don't play jealousy games and I'm not the possessive type. I value directness, especially in relationships, and I try to return the same courtesy. It's so much less frustrating for both of us if we just tell each other what we're feeling instead of expecting the other to guess correctly.
As for who I'm looking for - well, right now I'm happy just making new friends. Ultimately I'm looking for a soulmate, but you don't just decide someone is your soulmate, you've got to at least be friends first.

Former Military Special Operations Weapons Instructor and have worked in Physical Therapy and Orhopedic surgery for many years... very different careers, but both have been a blessing in their own ways. While attending Univ. of South Alabama to continue my education, I was called to Active Duty for 3 years due to the events of Sep. 11, 2001. Have been to many countries around the world (Germany, Spain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Masira Island, Oman, Ireland, Italy, Aghanistan) which is part of the reason I'm still single and have no children. Returned to civilian life and moved "home" to the MS Gulf Coast to resume my medical career as an Orthopedic Surgical Rep. before Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005. Got offered another great job through doing volunteer work in the aftermath of the Hurricane. That turned out to be a great blessing...still working for the same company 7 years later.
