UPDATE!!! All the things below are still true. However, I'm riding a tidal wave of super good energy right now. It seems I can't keep up with all the good. Divinity, karma, good luck, whatever it is, I like it. I'm having a blast and I hope you are too. My greatest struggle as of late has been my inability to get the degree of sunburn I want. Life is tough, huh? Holler at me when you can. I might just do likewise.
This is a rough idea of where I am. I imagine we are all far more complex and interesting than a brief profile will allow.
Personally, I'd say a I'm a pretty good guy who loves life, has a wonderful today and a bright future. I'm right where I need to be right now. I stay busy with work, raising my daughter, preparing to go to grad school in the fall, volunteering and plenty of other "stuff". When I'm not engaged in the aforementioned activities I'm most likely playing mandolin, practicing yoga, mountain biking, running, playing outside, getting a sunburn, drinking good beer (and the occasional bourbon), going to festivals of various sorts (music is my favorite), catching live shows, spending time with friends and looking for new and cool things to do. I enjoy the occasional movie or television show and love a good nap from time to time but I much prefer to be active.

I’m not a couch potato and boredom comes way to easy; I can enjoy lazy days, but they are not common for me. I normaly run 12-15 miles per week and strength train 2-3 days per week; all of which helps me decompress. Physical fitness is a lifestyle for me, i.e. not something that has to be done, as it allows me to do the things I enjoy in life, and provides the confidence to try new things.
I have no loyalties when it comes to sports (except for my alma mater ASU) and enjoy playing sports a lot more than watching them...I’m saying I participate, not that I’m an All-Star.
